Heart and Cardiovascular Diseases

Too little movement and unfavorable diet can present dangers that many of us are exposed to daily. So-called “diseases of civilization” – in particular heart and cardiovascular problems – are increasing highly, while radical changes to our habits of physical exercise and our food menus often are not up for discussion. It has long been known that populations with a high fish diet experience less see heart and cardiovascular diseases than their counterparts in industrial nations. The targeted delivery of certain essential omega-3 fatty acids which are contained in a concentrated form in the oil of certain types of fish is a first step to change that can easily be made: Omega-3 fatty acids have a positive influence on the blood lipid levels and act to prevent a variety of clinical conditions.
